It smells lovely-like cherry ice-cream or the italian almond flavored liquor amaretto- and it makes a rich silky lather that leaves my hands really soft and clean. It really does what it says. however I would not use it on my face or body because I am used to use gel cleansers. I also love the Dr, Bronner's liquid soap (citrus) for my everyday awaking shower.
