Behind the Scenes at #LFBeautySecrets
A few weeks ago, we at Lookfantastic asked 9 of the most well known beauty bloggers and YouTubers in the UK to come to our own studio to uncover our big Beauty Secret, the Advent Calendar reveal. You've already seen their reactions so now we thought we'd show you a little bit of what everyone got up to behind the scenes.

The shoot happened over a couple of days. On the first day we had Patricia Bright, Meg Says, Nina Vee and Imogen Hudson, and on the second Stacey Macdonald, Lydia Elise Millen, Ali Gordon, Leanne Lim Walker and Sabrina Britton.
On both days, our beauty ambassadors were greeted by our production team as they arrived to the studio, which included Sonny. He is the sweetest little pug and we think he might just have to become a Lookfantastic mascot!
The Green Room
Our ambassadors were then taken straight up to the green room where there were lots of different swatches of Lookfantastic beauty products for them to try.
With lots of pretty packaging to unwrap and a few little sneak peeks of what to expect on set, our ambassadors had a little bit of fun trying out lots of makeup and skin products from some of the amazing brands on site.
The Hair and Makeup
After picking out some of their favourite products and chatting over their preferred looks for the day, it was over to the lookfantastic hair and makeup team to help them prep for the shoot.
Cup of coffee in hand, everyone was ready for a little pamper to help prep for the day. Common themes for the day? Everyone is still loving highlighter, coppery shadows are totally perfect for Autumn and everyone adores glamorous, glossy waves!
Into the Studio
As the ambassadors walked down to set they didn't know anything about what was going to be happening; it really was a huge secret!
We really wanted to see their true reactions to the Advent Calendar and the set so one by one, the ambassadors were taken down into our studio and onto set.
The set had been specially designed with blush pink, creams and rose gold touches everywhere; it was an absolute dream and their faces said it all! Pretty much everyone left the set wondering how they could redecorate to use those colours!
The ambassadors were then asked to take a seat on the sofa where they found a present on the table: their own Beauty Secret Volume 2, all wrapped up.
As you can see in our videos, everyone fell in love with the rose gold packaging and as for the products? We aren't ruining the secret but one of the exclusive gifts inside had everyone in raptures!
