REN’s Clean Screen Mineral SPF30 is a mattifying sunscreen that’s suitable for daily use.
Equipped with chemical UV filter-free SPF30, the bestselling formula offers protection against UVA/UVB rays, blue light and external aggressors. Passiflora edulis fruit extract and 22% non-nano zinc oxide sit on the skin’s surface, acting as a barrier against sun damage.
Visible signs of premature ageing are often induced by the sun, which is why this sun cream helps to ward off harmful rays. Housed in a 50% recycled plastic tube and topped with a 100% recycled plastic cap.*

AM: We recommend applying Clean Screen Mineral SPF 30 as the last step of your skincare routine, to well-moisturised skin. Massage evenly across the face until absorbed. Follow with Clean Primer and your usual makeup application. Reapply every 2 hours to maintain adequate sun protection.

Used two tubes of this. For me it was more of a winter SPF, since I simply sweat off mineral sunscreen in the summer. Plus, I have a light (ish) skin with olive undertone, so without makeup my face looked a bit grey. I have found better sunscreens since then.

Great mineral sunscreen
I wear factor 50 sunscreen normally, and have tried and used loads. My skin has been really greasy and I wanted something that wasn't quite so shiny, plus I wanted to try a mineral rather than chemical sunscreen. I love this. It applies well, and is fine to apply makeup over without pilling. It doesn't leave a shine, but isn't static either. I'll definitely be buying again.

Hit and miss
Even though I’ll wait a few minutes after my skincare routine to apply the SPF, it will still leave a tack/ stickiness on my skin. I follow all the directions (rub in hands first) and massage it in as much as I can. It leaves me not wanting to touch my face or anyone else to (boyfriend). You also do have to be care careful as to not use too much or you will have a significant white cast. Unsure if it doesn’t agree with my moisturiser maybe? Not confident I’ll buy it again, but will use it up.

Best sunscreen
I love this sunscreen - I'm pale and it's very white so you definitely do have to rub it in as soon as you put it on so that it absorbs and doesn't leave you looking like a ghost - but once you do I think it's perfect! It's one of the only sunscreens I've found that doesn't break me out, and it interacts well with the makeup I use on top.

White case
A pro is that it was suitable for my hypersensitive skin but unfortunately it left a white cast on my face. I have very pale white skin and it took about 5 minutes to blend in properly. Even once blended I looked like a vampire. Definitely would not be suitable for someone with darker skin. Luckily I received a sample of this product but will not be purchasing.

Will not be repurchasing
I really wanted to like this after reading such good reviews but I hate this SPF :( it's so thick and takes a lot of work to rub in. I have very pale skin and need to rub it in for ages as it leaves thick white marks all over the face and neck. My makeup goes on awful on top, it just sits on top looking very textured. Really disappointed as this wasn't cheap.
