Depends how you use it!
4I find this product most effective used after the serum on a night, I literally sit generous amount on top of the serum before bed, when I wake up my skin feels great. However I find the product on its own (without the above routine) less effective and still end up with dry patches.

Not for me
2I don’t find this moisturiser moisturising, therefore it doesn’t do what it’s supposed to do in my opinion. You will love it if you have oily skin and like mattifying moisturisers. I have oily skin, but still want to add moisture to my skin, this feel quite tight and matte and just isn’t for me.

A skincare essential
5This was the first The Ordinary purchase and it did not disappoint. Wonderfully light and easy to apply, my skin feels instantly moisturised without the cream being too heavy. Bought to apply tanning drops with and it works a dream!

Amazing moisturiser with an amazing price tag
5I had this moisturiser a few times and I loved it. I have combination skin, prone to dryness and blemishes. The most important thing for me, that it didn't cause breakouts. The texture feels whipped and absorbs easily leaving my skin soft, no greasy or oily feeling. It doesn't contain fragrance, so it has only the smell of the cream. Its been never irritating, even after a sunburn. I think for somebody with sensitive skin and a preference for harmless ingredients and simplicity, this is a fantastic moisturiser. It is simple and very cheap.

Luminous skin
5I haven’t tried another vitamin c product but I’m gonna keep using the ordinary, because I’m very happy with the results, my skin in the morning looks luminous, hydrated and it helped my boyfriend to dry his whiteheads, we were very surprised. I use it at night because it’s a little thick and takes a while to dry if you don’t allow it to dry it can make your skin appear flakey.

Not the best Ordinary product
2The product's consistency is not very pleasant. It does not absorb fast as well. I didn't like the smell as well.

Love this
5I really love this moisturizer! I had been using pure argan oil at night as I heard it was good for oily skin but was getting bad breakouts so switched to this. It is matte, quickly absorbed, clears up dry areas and is reducing (certainly not aggravating) my breakouts. And at this price tag.. Fantastic 🙌

Good value
4I have normal skin with an oily t-zone and found this moisturiser to be fairly good. It feels quite thick when applied but it sinks in straight away. It does leave a matte finish, which sometimes doesn’t feel like it is moisturising enough. I think I would need something a little thicker for the colder months but for spring/summer it’s a good option and the price is great too. Another good product from The Ordinary!

3Tube is smaller than anticipated and it feels like you need a generous amount for each application so I'm using sparingly to make it last.
