This is a great product for my fine flyaway hair. Previously my hair would be full of static when blow drying and really difficult to handle. Works well as a thickener, I've been using about 5 years now and I'm pleased with its results. Use sparingly on roots and gently in before drying. I find it doesn't work with air drying so only use if blow drying. About my hair: I've always had thin, lank hair but following illness almost 10 years ago I suffered hair thinning that has not grown back, it destroyed my confidence to the point of losing my job and my barely leaving the house. Now I'm peri-menopausal so the general thickness of my hair has changed too. so I do not recommend hair products without thoroughly believing in their efficacy. I use Giovanni Route 66 Volumising Shampoo, Aveda Thickening Tonic, Aveda Shampowder Dry Shampoo and Moroccanoil hairspray.
