Meghan Markle’s facialist gives her top skincare tips for bridal beauty ahead of the Royal Wedding
We can now confirm that Nichola Joss will be the magical influence behind Meghan Markle's glow on her wedding day. The celebrity facialist and DECLÉOR brand ambassador has been posting on her Instagram Story that she has arrived in Windsor to prep the beautiful bride.
We were lucky enough to meet Nichola when we visited DECLÉOR's London boutique store, and we can confirm she is the queen of a glowing complexion. She knows the ins and outs of what makes for healthy skin, which makes her perfect for creating that beautiful bridal radiance.
Nichola Joss's top bridal beauty tips
#1: Facial massage
Nichola's top bridal beauty tip is actually something you can do in the comfort of your own home with one of DECLÉOR's bestselling beauty products and Nichola Joss's all-time favourite masks: the Prolagène Lift Contouring Lift Firm Mask.
This 1-minute mask treatment is something Nichola says she loves to use on all brides before their wedding day as it is super gentle yet gives a gorgeous radiance ready for the walk down the aisle. It contains iris essential oil, which not only helps to hydrate but firms and lifts the skin to tighten the complexion. Plus, the massage that you do during the 1-minute encourages circulation and lymphatic drainage to reduce pufffiness and give a healthy glow.
You definitely want to be very gentle on your skin. Massage your skin every day, to remove any tensions and stress - Nichola Joss, Femail

#2 Hydrate the skin
The second most important thing to remember when you're a bride is ensuring your skin stays super hydrated. This will keep it soft, smooth and plumped-up, as well as ensuring an even makeup application.
Nichola recommends Kate Middleton's favourite treatment, Trilogy's Rosehip Oil as it is super moisturising yet lightweight and non-greasy, as well as DECLÉOR's Neroli Night Balm, which is perfect for popping on for the true definition of beauty sleep. It contains basil, neroli and chamomile to moisturise the skin and get it glowing.
#3 Take probiotics
We all know the benefits of taking probiotics but so many of us forget to actually include them in our routine. When you're a bride, probiotics are your best friend, as they not only help to promote a healthier gut, but a healthy gut = happy skin, which means a flawless complexion on your special day.
Our favourite probiotic supplements are the Perricone MD Super Greens Capsules, as they contain both probiotics and an antioxidant complex, which promote healthy skin, a happy gut and protection against environmental aggressors.
#4 Sleep on a silk pillowcase
How much more royal does it get than sleeping on a silk pillowcase? If you're not familiar with the trend, celebrities and models attest silken pillows to their gorgeously shiny and healthy hair, and the science behind it is undeniable. Read more here about our favourite brand Slip Silk.
We love the Slip Silk Pillowcase (like Nichola below), and for a bride, only the White shade will do. Pair with the matching bridal silk eye mask for a truly indulgent beauty sleep.
