Hard to combine and weird scent
4I like this gel. It gives good definition and a very natural effect. It's quite difficult to find a product it can be combined with, as it would either don't mix (and get a white clumpy mixture) or it makes my hair go frizzy like crazy. On it's own though is perfect. Yes, the scent might put some off as it does remind of lemon washing liquid, however it doesn't stay on hair for long!

Smelled nice, did nothing
1This was a waste of money. Sure, it smells nice, and makes it a little easier to get my hair unknotted after it had been washed, but it did nothing for my curls at all, even following the instructions. In fact I think my hair is curlier without it! I'll keep using it for its detangling properties and scent, because it wasn't cheap - but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Hair takes longer to dry but amazing scent and feel
3Overall, I really liked the scent and feel of the product, the citrus is noticeable but nothing that is irritating to me and I’m quite sensitive to scent. Nice hold and love it for 2nd and 3rd day hair. If I use it however on wet hair it feels like my hair never dries, washed hair in the morning, went about day and went for walk in really nice sunny weather, slept on it as always and hair still feels damp next morning and all following day. Tried a few different approaches but can’t get it to work for me. Will keep to touch up but not from wet hair. Have wavy/curly fine hair that is quite moody with product so would say still worth a try and scent and texture is lovely!

Good Curly Hair Product
4This is a very light gel that gives good hold for your curls. Works well when refreshing 2nd/3rd/4th day curls. For me the only issue is the scent, sort of floral/citrus which I just don’t like. However i did find that it didn’t linger after I’d dried my hair, so it was just whilst styling that I had the problem. All in all I would recommend this product as it works well.

Great product!
5I bought this curl gel after reading good reviews. I have long, bleached wavy hair with ringlets underneath. I follow the CG method and was looking for a product which was CG approved. This has the consistency of a serum but applies like a gel. I've only used it once so far but I am so impressed! It has left my hair smooth, defined and soft with minimal frizz. My waves look amazing. I am so happy I've found a product that works!

Good for fine hair and CGM approved
5I’m about halfway through my bottle of this now, but have purchased a second already when it went on off so I do like the gel. First thing you’ll notice is the runny consistency that’s not like the gels you buy in a tub from the supermarket that wobble like jelly. Second is the scent, now my sense of smell is poor but this smells strong even to me - if you have a sensitive nose or dislike citrus scents then avoid. It is definitely a light hold gel, but it’s also lightweight which is great for finer hair. The hold is fair, on damp hair it’s stronger but I prefer to apply to soaking wet hair. It is CGM friendly (curly girl method) which is a must for me as I’m using the method currently. There’s no flaking, my hair is shiny and bouncy. Just do not purchase if you are expecting a super strong cast because it won’t give you one.

Amazing
5The gel gives medium cast but it’s so moisturising. The only gel that doesn’t dry the curls out

Love It
5This isn't like a usual hair gel, it is quite runny and a little goes a long way. It is very lightweight but hold my curl well without crispness. The smell is inoffensive and not overpowering. I love it.
