Established by architect Leeo (Chin Wook) Lee, Dr.Jart+ was born in Seoul in 2005. After being introduced to a makeup-like blemish balm that was only available in dermatology clinics, Leeo was inspired by its multi-functional benefits and began collaborating with chemists and laboratories to create his own product that blended powerful skincare ingredients to deliver the coverage of a foundation. From there, Leeo's dream to create dermatological skincare that brings together the most advanced ingredients and technology into life-enriching formulas began.
