A good SPF face cream will be enriched with conditioning ingredients to hydrate and nourish your skin, as well as properties that shield your skin from UV rays, visible light, pollution and even damage caused by computer screens. Ideally, you should choose a face moisturiser with SPF30 or above for maximum efficacy, and it’s important to note that SPF moisturisers don’t give your complexion broad spectrum protection, only shielding your skin from UVB rays (which causes sunburn and more serious issues such as skin cancer). You should always apply sunscreen to give your skin protection from UVA rays too.
