It really does work if you have keratosis pilarisor/Chicken skin  (I have it mildly on the back of my arms, and its gone) dry bumpy dry skin. It really is a fantastic moisturiser!

This cream is so good! I suffer with dry skin on my legs (KP) and was skeptical that it would actually work. I was amazed at how smooth it left my legs feeling. Before i tried this cream i was very self conscious in having my legs on show, however i feel so much more confident now. This is a must have if you suffer with dry skin!

This is a good, pleasant moisturising cream which lasts for at least 24 hours, it doesn’t do anything for the crepeiness on my upper arms as others reviewers have said though.

Fantastic cream for keratosis pilaris

I'd heard about Cerave quite a lot but was still working through some products and couldn't bear to order more before I'd finished my others. When it came time to change I thought I'd try their SA cream as I have mild keratosis pilaris on my thighs and the back of arms and had read that it was good for that. I'd never tried anything that had noticeably improved it until I started using the Cerave. Consistency is key. I've been using it every night since my first order (about 5 weeks) and there is a definite positive difference in my skin's condition. Whilst the KP on the back of my arms was very light, it has become non-existent since using the SA cream. On my thighs too, the texture has quite noticeably improved and I'm thrilled. There is a slight scent (a nondescript lotion smell) that pretty much disappears as soon as you apply. The consistency of the cream is quite thick, you genuinely do not need to use a lot of it to get good results but you do have to use it consistently to reap the benefits. I've used it over every inch of my body and face (in a rush lol) and my skin was so soft and smooth. I've since ordered more for family and friends too and they've loved it also. Definite keeper!

This, in conjunction with the CeraVe Smoothing Cleanser and frequent dry brushing, has solved my issues with Keratosis Pilaris (chicken bumps) on most of my body. I used to get prescribtion lotions for my KP, but the treatments available are notoriously ineffective and expensive; zero effect on me. I actually wrote my old dermatologist, detailing my regimen, once I'd started seeing incredible results - and he now recommends it as an alternative to other patients with KP in his practice. Would rate it 10/5 if I could - not just for clearing the KP I've had since birth, but for ridding me of the massive insecurities I've always felt about it.

I ordered the Cerave smoothing cream as i have Keratosis Pilarais quite bad on my forearms,upper arms and also suffer from very dry skin. I have tried loads of other creams on the high street but with no real results. I decided to purchase this based on customer reviews and the Cerave brand which i have heard from others it was good. I put this cream all over my body after my daily shower and my raised bumps on my skin definitely feel alot smoother,less dry and now i can't live without it.
