Step 1: Start with dry hair.
Step 2: Shake your CLOUD NINE Magical Quick Dry Potion heat protector spray to activate the lightweight conditioners, then spritz your hair to provide heat protection.
Step 3: Section your hair and secure it with CLOUD NINE Croc Clips.
Step 4: Select your temperature using the temperature control switch below the wide Floating Ceramic Plates. Temperatures range from 100-200°C. Variable Temperature Control provides a range of settings for a range of hair types. Style at lower temperatures for optimum hair health. Use the Temperature Calculator to discover the best heat setting for your straighteners.
Step 5: Smooth the Wide Iron through each section of your hair from root to tip. Our plates are infused with minerals that work miracles. Sericite and Tourmaline help to seal the cuticle and lock in moisture for shinier hair. The wider plate is designed for kinder styling for thicker, longer hair.
Step 6: Repeat section by section. The Wide Iron has Floating Ceramic Plates designed to care for your hair, not clamp. Expertly designed with Spring-Flex Technology, the plates adjust when closed, cushioning the impact of styling and preventing split ends.

For those with longer or thicker hair, it is recommended to use the Wide Iron straighteners. The wider plates are perfect for accommodating more hair, making the styling process faster and allowing you to style more hair in less time.
What are the benefits of a wide straightening iron?
A wide iron simplifies the straightening process for long and thick hair by enabling heat application across a larger area. It includes Variable Temperature Control for personalised heat settings, mineral-infused plates to retain moisture and Floating Plates that gently cushion hair without excessive clamping.

How do I know when my Wide Iron is ready to use?
Switch it on and the green light will start flashing. Once ready to use, it will illuminate steadily at 150°C. To select a higher temperature, press the button with the arrow facing upwards and wait for the temperature change.
Should the plates touch on my Wide Iron?
The plates remain apart, designed as floating plates to glide over hair without clamping, ensuring hair is protected from damage. When the irons are powered off, there is a slight gap between the plates, even when pressed together. Upon activation, this gap decreases, allowing smooth gliding over your hair for styling without snags.

Bought these as saw mostly good reviews and unlike other brands these do have variable heat settings. For me they didn’t live up to the hype or the price paid. I didn’t find that they straightened very well at all and my hair felt very dry/frizzy afterwards. The wide plate certainly saves time but for me personally not worth the money.

I have had my wide irons for years and they are great, I bought them originally when i had my thick hair cut short to straighten but now i use to wave and curl the hair and love the different temperatures,it is good to change them depending on how my hair is feeling at the time.

Cloud Nine hair straightener is amazing! I have long thick and frizzy hair and I have never had a hair straightener good enough for my liking or have never been satisfied with my hair until I bought the cloud nine !!!! thankyou cloud nine!!
