If you have thick wavy hair, as I do, don't bother with this brush, it's absolutely useless. My very old Aveda paddle brush needed replacing, so I thought I'd try this Denman one, it barely touched my hair. Have now done as I should have before, and ordered a new Aveda one and put the Denman one down as a complete waste of money.
