Always wanted a ghd! Well worth the money... But the down side is the warranty only for 2 years! Also my sister brought the same and it did not keep her straight throughout the day, but worked great on mine my hair is fine to medium and sisters is thick.

These ghd Gold Classic Stylers are excellent hair straighteners! After about 6 years my old ghds finally died, and I couldn't go without another pair. I chose to upgrade to the gold and I'm so glad I did. They heat up really fast and are so soft on your hair with no need to repeat sections as they straighten perfectly every stroke. If they last half as long as my last pair then they are definitely worth the money, and I really wouldn't bother with any other brand. These will not disappoint!

Fast and effective

I've been straightening my hair for 10 years, but these are my first pair of ghds. They are noticeably quicker and smoother when straightening my hair, which is a great plus. All of my previous straighteners would snag/catch my hair from time resulting in breakage, but I've been using these for 3 months now with no snags. I am also pleased to find the results tend to be longer lasting than the results from my other straighteners. They are also seemingly the hottest straighteners I've ever owned, and have given me my worst burn with a straighteners to date. That'll teach me! It's not actually that easy to burn yourself though, I was just rushing carelessly. I was expecting a heat dial with these, however there is none. There is an extra attachment to cover the end of the straighteners. As far as I could see, there was no mention of whether they can be attached when you've just turned off your straighteners and want to leave them to cool safely. I didn't want to make the assumption that they are heat resistant, so I don't use it at all. Either way, it falls off very easily and is therefore useless for pretty much anything. Overall I'm not 100% convinced they're worth more than double the cost of my previous pair, but I am definitely glad to cut some extra minutes off the time it takes me to style my hair in the morning.

I chose to purchase the Ghd Gold Classic Styler from Lookfantastic.com after doing some serious research and comparisons. I have to say that I wasn't disappointed. They glide effortlessly over my fine hair leaving it wonderfully straight with minimal effort or need for repeated 'run throughs'. They are awesome, and the best straighteners I have ever used.

This ghd Gold Classic Styler is amazing! My old ghd broke after many years and I had cheaper stylers but it's so nice to have ghd back in my life! No more frizz and waves after stepping out the door.

I was apprehensive before trying Ghd Gold Classic Styler but the hairdresser showed me how easy they are to use and I haven't burned myself yet! The heatproof cover which slots on straight after using is invaluable too.
