Nice shampoo
This shampoo smells delicious, it helps counteract orange tones in the hair to make them more cool toned. The only thing I found is that this is quite drying.

This is an excellent shampoo for neutralising brassy tones. I got it when my hair colour was more brassy than I expected and it toned it down nicely. I left it on for a few minutes before rinsing. I have damaged hair but I didn’t find this overly drying especially if I used a good conditioning mask afterwards.

Been looking for the equivalent of purple shampoo for greying brunettes for a while now. Reviews on this were positive but I was still a little sceptical. This is a great, solid choice for someone who wants to tone down the warmth (in my case orange tint) in their brown hair. It's lightweight and deep cleans without stripping, and lathers up into an airy foam that leaves my fine hair with volume. This is the kind of product you need to use somewhat consistently to see results, but using at least once a week or more will definitely keep your hair cool looking. The only thing I don't like is that it has sulfates. For my color treated hair, I feel like it's removing the actual dye faster than usual. But if you don't color your hair, or don't mind more frequent color touch-ups, this is great.

So my hair was a medium brown and I decided to do my own balayage... although it turned out ok my hair was 50 shades of copper... which wasn't really the lift I wanted. So I used this on 'dry hair' wearing gloves I caked it all over my dry hair on the orange bits and left for 15min. When washing my hair i mixed a bit more with my regular shampoo and let it sit for a further minute and conditioned. I was absolutely amazed, turned my orange to a lovely golden colour, so the next time I decided to leave it on for 30min and and results were even better! I would def recommend using this on dry hair once a week. I haven't used it on wet hair yet so I can't comment. But fab product, lifts orange copper tones really well.

Seems to be working
Recently I used a bleach from dying my hair dark brown and wanted to go light. Of course the bleach turned my hair blonde/ ORANGE.. So got this shampoo not the conditioner. I have only used this twice and a lot of people are commenting at work saying my hair is so much lighter now (not orange anymore) I'm actually amazed. Only reason I haven't give this 5 stars is because I have only used this the couple of times and still hoping to expect more from this product. Seems alright so far :)

Nice shampoo but didn't work for me
I bought this shampoo to tone down unwanted red/copper tones in my mid/dark brown hair, sadly it has not made any noticeable difference. I have used it quite a few times now along with the conditioner and my hair is still very orange /ginger toned. This left my hair looking very shiny but didn't do what it was supposed to. I am not sure if it would work better if left on longer but I left it on for a few minutes in the shower as directed.

I suffer a lot from red and copper tones in my brown hair. With it getting hotter and the sun brighter my hair goes like as do the copper tones #ginge. I looked online As to how to get ride of these tones and previously last year I purchased purple shampoo but when it arrived it said it was for blondes so I gave it to my mum. However recent I realized blue shampoo is best for brunettes. You can see results from the first wash! It's literally saved me from having a melt down of having just off ginger hair.
