Slight difference in hair colour

I love kerastase products and usually use the chronologiste shampoo and mask so was delighted to try the Blond Absolu . I have given this 3 stars as the shine on my hair and the softness was lovely but minus 2 stars as i hardly noticed any difference in the colour of my hair. I don’t know wether this is due to having a dirty blonde balayage and maybe you have to have a white bleach blonde to notice a difference? So even though this was a lovely creamy shampoo and left my hair shiny, soft and smelling nice it didn’t alter my hair colour so would prefer to use a different product from the range.

Incredible

This shampoo is really incredible. It helps colour stay radiant for longer. It really does restore your hairs colour. This shampoo prevents fading. It smells beautiful and really does make a difference to coloured hair. Combined with the conditioner it really does work wonders.

Gorgeous shampoo

This shampoo is amazing! I have blonde highlights and this shampoo has brightened the colour without looking brassy. My hair felt soft and smooth once I’d dried it. Will definitely purchase this shampoo on a regular basis.

i received this product free to use & review, what a freebie it is, it left my hair feel nice and soft and lifted my colour brilliantly really brightening my colour and with a lovely sheen when I dried it, it also covered up my roots so I wont have to colour my hair so soon, will definately use it again

A must have for any blonde!

I’ve had bleached platinum blonde hair for many years and have subsequently tried every blue/purple/silver shampoo on the market - both professional and store brands. Typically I would either end up with a blue rinse or no difference at all apart from dryness. Not with this beauty! I’ve been using this Kérastase blue shampoo for 10 months and it’s seriously changed my hair game! When used every other day, as a first shampoo before a nourishing second shampoo, my platinum colour maintains perfectly with no yellowing or brassiness. Nor do I get a build up of it in my hair. If it was used alone, it would possibly be a little drying, but Kérastase don’t recommend using it that way. I love this shampoo and will continue using it as part of my normal hair are routine - my hair has never looked better!

Great shampoo!

I’ve had brilliant results with this shampoo! I’ll definitely repurchase it as it’s gentle on my scalp but cleanses thoroughly with a soft and plentiful lather (and doesn’t stain the bath unlike so many other purple shampoos I’ve tried in the past!) It has a lovely light scent and gently toned down the brassiness in my hair after the sun had ravaged it on holiday. I’d definitely recommend this shampoo to blondes and brunettes with highlights/balayage alike.

Very violet !!!!

I'd never tried Kerastase products before so I was very keen to see how this performed and I'm glad to say I was very happy with it. I did my usual wash and repeat and the shampoo certainly cleaned my hair well. It is a good consistency and lathers up. The colour is certainly very violet and whilst it didn't stain my hair at all (I'd literally just had my highlights down so I was a bit concerned!) it did seem to leave a violet hue to my fingernails but that soon disappeared once I'd washed them again.

Gentle!

This shampoo is the gentlest purple shampoo I have ever used. Normally when I shampoo with other purple shampoos your hair feels like straw when you’re rinsing out. This just feels silky and smooth. My highlights have been kept nice and bright. Normally they’d be heading towards brass. This will definitely be repurchased.

Really Surprised!

I was tempted to write my review immediately after using this product as I was so impressed with the results - but I decided to be sensible and refrain......and get one of my daughters to try it also! Well, my initial reaction has not changed with use! I have have naturally blonde fine hair which has darkened with age and children, and now have highlights regularly but over the last couple of years my hair is becoming a little thinner and much dryer on the ends. I am careful about what I use on my hair and have a good understanding of different hair products and how the can benefit your hair and I really didn't think I would get the best results from this product. After the first use, using in conjunction with the Blond Absolu Circaflash Conditioner, my hair felt great and I thought, looked blonder! I like my hair to have 'volume' and some products make my hair too soft and limp and hard to style - but this was great, I still had lots of volume and it felt in great condition - I was really surprised! Well, my daughter tried it - she was amazed! I was amazed - her hair was definitely blonder or at least it seems to really bring the best out in the hues - and like me, she has fine hair - her hair was not limp - it was full and felt soft and bouncy! I have used several times since: tried on its own, tried with an alternative Keretase conditioner and tried again as a set. I have found it works best using this Blond shampoo with the Blond conditioner - exactly to the instructions given. I also think it gives me my best results when I alternate it with another shampoo/conditioner set - basically not using it every time I shampoo (which is at least twice a week). It just seems a little unnecessary and I like getting that 'Oh wow I can see a difference in the tone!' feeling - which you don't get if you use all the time! The condition of my hair really has benefited from using this and I will continue to use this range. Although my hair is mature - it has given my daughter really good results too - so I expect she will also continue to sneak it out of my cupboard!

Amazing

Am more than thankful to get this, bring out color of Balayage highlights. The texture of the hair it was 100% better and easy to manage hair after. Really recommend this shampoo if you have Balayage highlights on blond shades like me.
