Suitable for all hair types, the Kérastase Première Decalcifying Repairing Shampoo removes excess calcium and helps visibly repair all types of damaged hair, including damage by heat tools, colour treatment, bleaching and over-processing. Calcium in water can further damage already delicate over-processed or bleached hair. Being more porous, damaged hair can absorb up to three times more calcium than natural hair.
Formulated with a concentration of pure citric acid and glycine, the formula transforms into a luxurious foam that decalcifies hair from calcium overdose, reduces breakage and visibly repairs hair. Hair is left feeling smooth, manageable and bouncy.
- Application: Apply on wet hair, layered on top of the Decalcifying Repairing Pre-Shampoo Treatment. Massage and emulsify. Rinse thoroughly.
- Routine: Follow with the Première Conditioner or Première Mask.

Excited to try!
I’ve been using Kerastase for over 20 years so I was very excited to try their new range. First thought on the scent wasn’t as nice as the other ranges. But it’s did deliver hair was easy to comb through after washing and it felt squeaky clean. I didn’t see a dramatic difference in my hair but it felt soft shiny and hydrated combined with using the treatment.

Bleached Hair!
When using this with the pre shampoo treatment I cannot rate this highly enough. Such a weird way of doing a shampoo and treatment but it WORKS. The shampoo smells divine and you layer on top of dampened hair with the pre shampoo treatment. The lather and foam you can really work through your scalp and strands. It is quite possibly the best detoxing and repairing shampoo I have ever used. It is a dream for dry hair or bleach damage!

Excellent shampoo
This is really good. I used to use Kerastase Bain Divalent shampoo and used it every day. With the premiere I only wash twice per week and my hair does not end up greasy, like it used to. It’s expensive but with the reduction in washing hairs it’s certainly worth it.

Will buy again
I live in an area with hard water, which is the bane of my life. I started using this shampoo this week and have noticed my hair was much less tangled after washing. My hair is on day 3 since washing and still looks shiny.
