Double dupe / but better!

s anyone out there who is on a cruelty free journey that has struggled to find a Estée Lauder double wear Dupe?  Well after 10 years (yes 10 years) I stumbled across it in the form of KVD Good Apple serum foundation.   1. The coverage - stunning - with a brush you get FULL full - doll like coverage, with a sponge more of a diffused skin like but full coverage.   2. It’s so light - much lighter than ELDW  3. Ideal for those that get oily through the day - powder those areas like you would with ELDW   4. The undertones are spot on - just know this product has a final dry down colour just like ELDW so do a test - let it dry and look at it in natural day light before buying it.   5. Unlike ELDW it has a pump!!   6. It is Silicone based so will need a silicone primer underneath if you wear primer. (For the ultimate smooth baby doll complexion team it with Tartes smooth operator primer or the KVD lock it primer)   7. Great for those that get spots from high coverage products - this does not break you out!!!   8. Great shade range 9. No fragrance   10. Doesn’t sit in fine lines (I’m 40 with some very fine lines, texture, open pores and old nose piercing scar)  11. Can be thinned out if mixed with a moisturiser for a BB cream look.  12. Glass bottle  13. Cruelty free  14. Has a sister product for those who have a drier complexion: the good apple balm  15. I almost forgot the brush - blends out the foundation so well - makes me think of the Artis make up brushes from a few years ago - very lux and again very underrated

One of the best foundations I have used

I’ve loved Kat since watching her years ago on TV and was so excited to try her KVD range. The good apple Serum foundation is awesome, and the brush is one of the best I own and I’ve paid 4x the price for brushes. My skin looks TOTALLY flawless all day and Into the evening. No reapply needed.

I really wanted to love this but was disappointed. Really cakey on my skin, and it felt quite heavy too like I had loads of make up on. I will keep trying and maybe just use for a night out as the coverage is full - I would t say it’s an every day wear to work foundation
