5Lovely smelling serum. Leaves your face feeling so soft. I haven't had any adverse effects from this retinol serum. Felt good the first time I used it and still does now.

Terrible
1Must be new ingredients and they’ve actually burnt my skin. Both products so I think the ingredients must have changed as the previous serums have been really good.

Great for sensitive skin
4I am genuinely obsessed with La Roche Posay products! I have very very sensitive skin and it’s the only thing that doesn’t irritate it. This retinol did not upset my skin in the slightest and it has a great peeling effect so not only can you feel it working you can see it working too. I added it in slowly to my routine so am going to keep going to build up my tolerance so I can use it every other day. So far I absolutely LOVE IT! (Also only giving it 4 as I haven’t used it for long enough to give it 5 yet!)

Retinol effective works
5Retinol serum at it’s concentrated level. The peel effect is very quick, not harsh and radiant after effect on my skin. Just use it regular and rest days with good heavy moisturizer. One of La Reche-Posay’s best.

Excellent product
5Very gentle on my sensitive skin, has improved skin elasticity and evenness almost after the first week of use. Glad I purchased I was a bit hesitant due to my skin’s sensitivity but no problem so far and thankfully no peeling experienced!

Good retinol but overpriced
4My skin looked clearer and brighter after using but find this product a little bit overpriced as there are cheaper products with same or better results.

Amazing beginner retinol
5This was my first retinol and I wasn’t disappointed, it didn’t at all leave my skin feeling irritated or dry so I’d say it’s perfect for someone who hasn’t used retinol before. I bought twice but now gone up to a stronger % of retinol as my skin is now used to this one (Murad), but it served its purpose and would reccomend for anyone starting out in their retinol journey!

Effective as expected
5If you prefer a high level of peeling then this is the product. Like 2-3 days of continuous usage-visible peeling is there. And it is a must to wear loads of moisturizer with spf during the day as the peel off skin will look dry all over face. Wrinkles will diminish after religiously applying it (twice/thrice weekly at night) span of 8 weeks.
