MATTIFYING HYDRATION FOR COMBINATION SKIN
Hi All, I am a 30 year old male ;) with combination skin which tends to get shiny by midday. I live between Sydney and Bali so the weather is very hot and humid or very hot and dry. I am always on the lookout for a good combintation skin friendly moisturiser that wont make my face super oily in heat and have tried many! (REN, KHIELS, LA ROCHE POSAY, CETAPHIL, MARIO BADESCU,CLINIQUE, to name a few !) I recently purchased Lierac Hydragenist Moisturising Cream-Gel after reading a review comparing it to Clinique moisture surge which I have recently been using. After a few weeks of using this my skins condition has greatly improved. My face has been quite dry as a result of sun exposure and after a few weeks of use my skin is looking softer and plumper with the hard and tight appearance greatly reduced. I put this cream in the fridge and its feels amazing when applied onto clean skin. It is great for daytime as it mattifies and does not clog my pores (which are quite large!) It has a nice gel texture and feels light weight once applied, abosrbing easily into the skin. It has a rose scent which I do not mind but may irritate those with sensitive skin or who dislike fragrance. I recommend this to anyone (male or female) with combination skin looking for a hydrating moisturiser that mattifies. I have been using this product in summer so cant comment to how it performs in harsher weather conditions.
