Mavala Mavamed Fungal Nail Solution 5ml

Tend to fungal nail infections with Swiss skincare and cosmetics brand Mavala’s Mavamed Fungal Nail Solution; a medicated topical treatment that puts an instant stop to the development of fungus, avoiding spreading onto other nails.

Caused by microscopic fungals that proliferate in hot, dark, wet conditions (like poorly-ventilated shoes), Onychomycisis makes nails brittle and flaky, causes discolouration and is contagious.

Powered by an effective ‘Instant Killer’ complex, the formula utilises a blend of Tea Tree Oil, Lavender and Eucalyptus essential oils, Lactic Acid and Urea to bring down the nail’s pH levels, thus inhibiting the growth and spreading of fungal threads. Also ideal for creating a physical barrier to prevent the spreading of Mycosis. 

How to Use: Before using MAVAMed Fungal Nail Solution, remove old nail polish and wash the affected area with water and soap and dry thoroughly.

Brush product twice a day (morning and night) which will form a colourless film on the infected nail. Leave on to dry in the open air for a short time.

To be more effective, cover your treated nail with a plaster before wearing socks or shoes.

It is important to continue using MAVAMed Fungal Nail Solution until the infection is totally cured and a healthy nail has grown.

It can take several months (as a reminder, a toenail takes 9 to 12 months to completely grow again).

However, if you do not observe any improvement after 3 months of use, consult your doctor.

Preventative Measures: To reduce the risk of infection, consider the following:

• Wearing sandals in public places like swimming pools.
• Wearing shoes with good aeration, preferring socks made from wool or cotton to avoid humidity.
• Do not wear someone else’s shoes and do not use someone else's nail clippers, nail scissors, bath towel and nail cosmetic products.
• Drying feet thoroughly after a shower, sport or swimming.
