Combination/mix skin
5So far I've only been using Crystal Retinal 10 for a few days. I like the results so far. I have combination skin - dry and oily at the same time with open pores and acne. After using Retinal, some of my pimples have dried up on the inside and I can get rid of them easily after cleansing my face.. I started using Retinal 10 because I had already used another brand's product with Retinal 5/0.5% without my knowledge. I didn't know about it, but it was worth sticking with. I'll be purchasing more C-Tetra Cream (for my morning routine) and Hydr8 hyaluronic acid serum (for morning and evening). I'll let you know how it turned out. For my skin type, I want to avoid high SPF in the cream, I have SPF 15 in my makeup.

Excellent
5This is fantastic; I've never reacted to it, and it creates gorgeous skin with diligent use. I know it won't be the same as having fillers / botox etc, but for those who don't want to do that, this would be the next best thing ( that's over the counter ).

Amazing
5Reduced the size of my pores dramatically and the tiny few lines I have on my forehead are almost gone I Use it with a strong Ceramide and cbd oil to keep the retinol uglies at bay.

5Glides on the skin and lasts ages a little goes a long way. Worth the money

Holy grail
5Love this It’s strong but not harsh on the skin The texture is soft and creamy and smells amazing This is the holy grail of over the counter retinal I couldn’t be with out it

Overall very happy
4In many ways I prefer the feel of this product over my usual medik8 retinol. However, be warned, if you use white bed linen you may not be so happy.

Superb product - best higher grade retinal product out there
5As suggested, I worked my way up to grade 10 by using a tube of 6 first (I was already using retinol/retinal so skipped the 3) and I can now use every evening but tend to swap in a glycolic acid product on two nights out of seven. I have combination skin, am in my late 40s, have been using this product for about two years and this has had a real impact on my complexion and fine lines. Definitely recommend.

5Great product, no irritations. The skin is soft and smooth. Gradually increase % of retinol, be carefull about spf and you'll be fine.

5My skin has never been better since using Crystal retinol! My dark spots have significantly reduced and I don’t have to use foundation as much as before. I’ve tried other brands but this is the best.

Meh. Does not live up to hype.
1I had read such good reviews of this, so my expectations were very high. After a few months of use I can categorically say that it has made no difference at all to my skin. I use it for anti-ageing purposes as well as to prevent acne, and it has failed on both points. Lines on my forehead are pronounced as ever, and I have had multiple breakouts which hasn’t happened when using a previous retinol. Worse still- it leaves a yellow stain on my pillowcase, as the serum is a bright orange colour- horrific! For the price, it is completely not worth it. I will go back to prescription retinols that are half the price and much more potent than this. I wanted to give it a go due to the hype surrounding this brand, but definitely will not be repurchasing. If you’re a seasoned retinol user like me, it’s one to avoid.
