Lightweight but not moisturising enough

The gel was lightweight and absorbed well in to my skin. I did find I had a few breakouts within the first week of using this but did expect that because of the niacinamide in it. I didn’t however find it very moisturising and did go over with another cream product on most evenings. I wouldn’t say the gel made any noticeable difference to my skin so probably wouldn’t purchase. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

good moisturiser

It hydrates your skin without feeling greasy. It does say left the skin dry but you won't feel dry. It didn't do much for my acne so not sure if you can use it as a treatment.  #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Everything you need in one

I’m not usually great with skincare but this was just so simple to use! What I liked most was that I didn’t have to use moisturizer on top as it was already in the product. Sometimes I feel that creams and serums make my skin oily however this just soaked straight in and didn’t affect that at all and my skin felt fresh rather than oily. This is now going to be something that I will continue to use ! Completely changed my skin care routine.  #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Neutrogena Clear & Defend Moisturiser

I like how the Neutrogena clear and defend gel moisturiser combines panthenol and niacinamide in a moisturiser, as it means less space is taken up in my bathroom cabinet with separate serums. I have acne prone combination skin, and this moisturiser definitely didn’t cause me to break out. In terms of blackheads, this moisturiser helped make my skin look less congested. However, this moisturiser did not seem to prevent or reduce breakouts. The moisturiser is also a bit sticky and not that moisturising.  If you have acne prone skin, this moisturiser will probably work great alongside other products, but is definitely not a stand-alone star product. In colder months, I’d recommend using a more moisturising product.

Excellent addition to the collection

I have been using this product for the last few weeks and I can’t believe the results especially within such a short space of time. It has helped with my oily skin and have given my skin a new radiant appearance. I’d definitely recommend this to everyone  #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Best gel moisturiser

I was dubious about using a gel moisturiser as typically they dry my skin out awfully, however this did the complete opposite! It left my skin feeling incredibly moisturised all day and actually evened out my skin tone whilst protecting me from those awful hormonal break outs. I noticed a massive difference in the oil in my face aswell, the production of oil was massively reduced, and I’m amazed that in such a short period of time that it has really helped my skin, especially in the winter aswell! Best repair cream

A very good cream for skin repair. Excellent ingredients. Perfectly repair oily skin, while not clogging pores. Great now for the autumn/ winter season. Very happy with this cream #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Great affordable product

In general, Neutrogena products always tend to be a good buy for my skin (combination) and this gel moisturiser didn't disappoint . . I love the way it glides onto the skin and is instantly absorbed leaving my skin feeling soft & moisturised, although I have to say that feeling didn't last as long as I maybe would have liked but overall its definitely worth the buy! #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Fast absorption

I love the smooth light texture. It absorbs really quickly and leaves skin smooth and is not greasy. After trying for 4 weeks, my skin does feel more hydrated. I would recommend, especially for people who have oily/combination skin #HomeTesterClubFreeSample
