Published in 1921, Marcel Proust composed the classic novel ‘À La Recherche Du Temps Perdu’ in which he illustrates how a scent or taste can transport one back in time.
For Proust, it was the vivid taste of a French petite madeleine cake, but for the creators of Akro, Olivier and Anaïs Cresp, it was the smell of lemon cupcakes at Carnaby Street’s Crumbs & Dollies bakery. Paying homage to a childhood ritual, Akro created this fragrance to replicate that cosy feeling of comforting lemon, mingling with soft praline and homely vanilla to inspire your own olfactive journey down memory lane.

It's great for gourmand lovers. Of course it is by Olivier cresp. Very nice and wearable sweet lemon meringue pie. Has a smoky kind of quality reminds me of a Turkish desert with the burnt bottom (kazandibi).

I can’t express enough how much I love this perfume, I’ve had it a couple of months now and I’m half way through the bottle already I’m going to need another soon I’ve been wearing it every day . The best way I can describe the scent is lemon icing on a cake then it fades after half an hour to beautiful vanilla scent , this fragrance just makes me smile . I also sometimes spray my bed sheets with it .

I love a gourmand fragrance but this is very average. It’s nice but not worth the price point. Smells like lemon sherbet on initial spray and smells like a warm lemon cake on dry down. Projection mediocre and sillage weak. Considering the price and the fact that this is a niche fragrance with poor projection and sillage I would avoid if you’re looking for something strong.

Lovely fragrance but…
The fragrance itself is lovely, it smells like a lemon drizzle cake or lemon muffin but I’m a bit disappointed in the packaging, feels a bit cheap for the price. I had a Ted Baker perfume when I was a teen and the packaging reminds me very much of that. Perfume seems to last 5/6 hours and I can smell it on my clothes still the next day.
