Safe for dogs
I know some of you probably think I'm crazy for using this for my pups. Our dogs are white and have thin, short-haired coats plus sensitive skin; they are sun worshippers and can get easily sunburned in the summer. While it's easiest to use a stick or cream sunscreen around their snoots, I wanted a fragrance free spray sunscreen for ease of application on their bellies and underarms. Sunscreens used on dogs shouldn't contain zinc oxide, Octyl Dimethyl PABA, Octyl methoxycinnamate or PABA as they are poisonous should they lick the sunscreen off, so this sunscreen is perfect. I also use this on my chest and arms before working on the garden but would use something more water resistant for the beach or pool.
