This plant derived gel cleanser is a clear, gently foaming facial cleanser for normal to oily skin. Aveda Purifying Gel Cleanser is enriched with Vitamin E to protect your skin from damaging free radicals.
Aveda Purifying Gel Cleanser with nourishing qualities gently dissolves makeup and impurities. The coconut and sesame derived cleansing agents leave you confidently cleansed, as you let the camomile, lavender and rosemary soothe your skin.
It’s blend of 16 certified organic, essential oils will leave your skin with a refreshing aroma.
Directions of use:
- For optimal results use both in the morning and evening.
- Place small amount of gel onto your fingertips.
- Apply evenly over your face and throat.
- Massage with circular movements upward and outward.
- Rinse well with warm water and pat dry.

Very happy with this product. I have been having lots of breakouts and and after using this product for a week I have noticed that skin condition significantly improved. IThis cleanser is gentle but does it's work very well, does not leave my skin dry and also smells good.

Great gel cleanser
Purchased this cleanser to try out with my Foreo Mini 2 as my skin has been flaring up and getting red a lot during lockdown and I'm very impressed. Foams up really nicely with a little product and water, works well both with my Foreo device (although need more product) or just with my hands in the shower. Face feels lovely and clean after and my redness and blemishes have definitely reduced after just a week of using the product. It does have a slightly odd smell but it's not offensive, just can't quite place it. The only reason I haven't given it 5 stars is because it is quite drying for my combination skin so a good moisturiser is needed to apply after cleansing. I'm currently using REN Evercalm but I'm going to give Origins Mega Mushroom a try next as I'm not sure the Evercalm is quite right for my skin.

I am a very picky regarding cleansers. And yes it was amazing i bought it like few years ago. It smelled nice and cleanse well. This is when your skin is ok and dont need an additional skin regime. I will reorder some time again it.

Best cleanser ever
The best cleanser for my combination skin--I've used it for five years already and not planning to switch. I've tried to cheat on it a couple times--so many new exciting products out there!--only to turn back to Aveda BK a week or two weeks later. Super-gentle non-irritating cleanser, the best of the best!

Aveda gel cleanser
Permanent blackheads occaisional spots, after many years of different products ranging in price and only minimal effects, the most succesful cleared blackheads but left my face very sore. This product firstly cleaned well and makes you feel good, after a couple of weeks clear of spots and blackheads :0) and feel fresh faced, wish it was a little cheaper, but I'm worth it :0) if it make you feel more confident and happy.
