Have been using the tangle teezers for years now and have been growing tired of them. Wanted a change. One with more umph. That can really get into the skull not just caress the hair it but really get to those knots. This is a truly amazing brush. More expensive but worth it. It’s hard, it’s sturdy, it’s great quality. Makes the other ones I’ve been using cheap and plasticky.

This is my third Aveda Paddle brush (lost the first two). I’ve have been using this brush daily for more than 20years, and it’s my top rated brush. Great for tangles and gently removes knots in hair - I’ve had long and short hair over the years, always thick. It’s also brilliant for blow drying, withstands heat with zero damage. I wouldn’t be without this brush.
