This is my first time using Aveda products and managed to grab some at discount in the Black Friday sales last weekend and I have to say this has to be one of the best shampoos I have ever used!! I henna my hair every 6-7 weeks in a bright auburn red and this really enhances the colour and it has even covered my brown roots when my hair starts to grow! My hair grows very fast and its very long and thick so keeping up with dying the roots can be tricky, but this shampoo works wonders at keeping the colour in and enhancing it! It's almost like a 3D shine and the volume is even better!! My hair is so long now that I was having problems getting the volume I desire at the roots because my hair was so weighed down but this shampoo has so much benefits it's worth the money. It treats the scalp and provides volume, shine and strengthens the hair, not to mention it smells beautiful almost like sherbet powder candy! Looking forward to buying the madder root conditioner as this has henna as the main ingredient but the shampoo doesn't contain henna x

Aveda shampoo

Fantastic quality as per usual from Aveda. Maintains natural brightness of my auburn hair without brassy tones being introduced. Leaves hair squeaky clean without harshness. Recommend this to all auburns and redheads in conjunction with Madder root conditioner.

smells amazing

A nice shampoo which smells amazing. Leaves my hair a bit fluffy but nothing a few styling products wont sort out. I have crazy curly hair so it is not unusual to be faced with this issue.
