Does slightly thicken hair, leaves it a bit fluffy though and find it very hard to style when usually my thin hair is very easy to blow dry and curl. The smell isn’t THAT bad. Not that great when actually washing and conditioning but once your hair is dry can barely smell it. Anyway, wouldn’t buy it again due to price and find it very much just “alright” prefer the redken one for my hair

Best Shampoo I've ever bought
I've been using Aveda for a couple of years now and it's made a huge difference to my hair. I wash my hair everyday and my hair does not feel dry or look damaged in anyway and this shampoo and conditioner is great for volume. I tend to switch it up every so often with one of the exfoliating shampoos (also Aveda) but always return to this one. I do also use the styling products from the same range.

Heavenly hair
Bought these after trying so many different shampoos and conditioners over the years. I have fine hair, but lots of it which needs balancing to not be too greasy or too dry. Like all aveda products these smell great. However I can't say they've added any volume at all to my hair. They leave it soft and shiny but I'd not buy again as they aren't as I'd hoped.

Don't waste your money or trash your hair with this product
After spending HOURS researching which Aveda duo to treat myself too, after reading the reviews I went for this set for my fine hair. The only good thing about this duo is the smell. The shampoo strips my fine bleached hair of any goodness, leaving it feeling instantly knotty and tangled. The conditioner doesn't even touch the sides. I have to use so much in the shower just to get my fingers through the end so I doubt the bottle will last me any longer than a month (I wash my hair every day). After drying, Mm hair is left feeling knotty, tangled and dry. It has no impact on the 'volume' of my hair. Utter waste of money - don't waste yours.
