Don't buy it !
I bought all three products in this range as a treat for my partner as she is always trying different products for her fine hair. This product is one of the worst she has tried, next day after use it looks as if not been washed for a week. Not worth the money, and not doing her hair any good. Very expensive and am now stuck with this and the conditioner and volumising tonic that are not fit for purpose and will not be used.

I like the idea of clay in the hair. It's not too heavy but still gives a lot of care. Great for fine hair. Great smell, too.

great mild shampoo!
Washes carefully and gives volume and shine, without making it dry or fly-away. I have super fine hair and this is a great every day shampoo. I also love the Aveda smell! Great purchase.

Great Shampoo
This Aveda Pure Abundance Volumising Shampoo has a very strong smell, but I love it. It does add body to fine hair and I'm really pleased. Would certainly recommend.

Bit disappointed :(
Having used Aveda products many times before and having my hair cut and coloured monthly in an Aveda salon I had high expectations of the Aveda Pure Abundance Volumising Shampoo. It smells divine, it did add volume but it dried my hair out terribly. I've since spoken to my hairdresser who said that this product does not have any conditioning ingredient. My advice... if you have dry hair, don't use this. Try something else. I love Aveda products but they don't come cheap, I know the feeling of disappointment when you spend a lot of money on products and they don't live up to your expectations. So here's a friendly recommendation: I have since used a sample of molton browns mulberry volumising shampoo and conditioner and absolutely loved it. It's not cheap either. But it does what it says it will and it's not drying on the hair.

Aveda Pure Abundance Volumising Shampoo
Have used this a few times along with the conditioner and already I feel my hair has more volume. Hope to see more results with more use.

fuller hair
I noticed at once that this shampoo makes my hair look thicker and fuller. I also appreciate the fact that I can wash my hair one day later, as it is not oily and the look lasts longer. I wish it could have a better perfume.
