First of all; I have normal straight hair, normal scalp. The duo is OK, but nothing more. The smell was a bit off to me. I use a lot of products that are vegan, and I also really like products that contains herbs, like mint and rosemary, so I am used to different smells, but the smell on this shampoo and conditioner is not great; it it not bad, but it it is a bit overwhelming. The shampoo is OK. It does not do anything particular to my hair, other than clean it. The conditioner is very light, which I normally like, but it basically gives no moisture to my hair at all. This is the first time I tried Aveda hair products, and I feel like I chose the wrong products for my hair, so I will therefore give Aveda another chance before I give up.

I have the Be Curly shampoo from Aveda which I love to use and lathers well. However to wear my hair straight I thought I'd give this one a go and was disappointed. It smells nice and fresh but doesn't lather well and I feel I am having to use more product. I will not be purchasing this again.

Makes my hair feel terrible
My hair is fine but, normally, very soft and shiny. When I use these Aveda products it immediately becomes messy, matted and rough. It looks slightly thicker, but only because it's a birds nest. I have honestly no idea how this product has so many good reviews. I've used half a bottle and giving up. It's going in the bin.
