Smelly
First of all, this product has an extremely unpleasant smell for a hair product. It reminds of aniseed...not what I want my hair to smell like. Secondly, it makes no real difference to my hair after going out with it blow-dried, my hair still manages to get a little frizzy. I read some great reviews for this product so I'm more then disappointed especially considering it's not the cheapest hair serum.

I have had this 3 months now I did not purchase the other products as per the tutorial; perhaps i needed to, but they are so expensive so thought i would try this as ok reviews, my hair blow dried quite nicely however as soon as out walking it went fuzzy not as good as hair serum, I have medium 2c/3a hair give it a go may work for you however it should be a least half the price for the results you get

Works average same many other smoothing products.
This I have been using for the last 8 weeks it is interesting that it has no special real effect I can say. It does not smooth my hair as well as a hair serum can but my hair is quite course and strong. I found no real difference to my hair really just a coated product like texture on my hair when it was dry and after straightening. Still I gave it 8 weeks that's a fair good chance to see how well it worked for me. I won't buy it again but other people love it I know. ;)

Smooth, shiny hair!
I love aveda products generally - having tried a few different style preps from them I think this is definitely my favourite. Adds extra shine to my hair and makes it smooth and straight. Admittedly my hair is pretty straight anyway so for me it's a great finishing touch.
