great for perioral dermatitis or any kind of skin flare up. nourishing and healing. preferred it to the other well known version of this by another brand. the other one stung a little around my mouth but this did not. if you have a reaction this will help it to settle. it is a little thick but intentionally so, so it can form a barrier to help your skin heal. has some white cast. helps with the itching and stinging.
