Perfect and prevent with bareMinerals Blemish Rescue Skin-Clearing Loose Powder Foundation, a full coverage loose mineral foundation infused with 0.5% Salicylic Acid to help fight acne.
Promoting clearer, healthier-looking skin, the non-drying powder foundation is clinically shown to clear acne in as little as three weeks*. It contains ultra-lightweight mineral pigments to deliver breathable, buildable full coverage with a natural matte finish that lasts all day. Targeting current spots while helping to prevent future ones, the skin-clearing makeup utilises a blemish-busting mineral blend of Zinc, Sulfur and Kaolin Clay to mattify and purify, plus soothing Oat Protein and a Moisture Mineral Complex to keep skin hydrated. Calming and camouflaging, the gentle foundation will conceal and correct the appearance of skin while fighting to keep skin clear over time.
Suitable for all skin types, including oily and acne prone skin.
Free from parabens, sulphates, fragrances, talc and gluten.
Non-comedogenic. Non-acnegenic. Not tested on animals.
*Based on a 6 week clinical study of 30 women.
Swirl a small amount of foundation powder in the cap until it disappears into the brush. Lightly tap away excess powder. Buff into the skin in a circular motion, starting on the outside of your face and moving inward.

Excellent product
Really great coverage for a powder foundation, doesn’t really stop you getting oily but covers spots very well and feels really lightweight

Very good for dry acne prone skin
This is my second package using this powder. I was using it while I had many spots of akne and I am using it now, when I am on roaccutane -with very dry skin

Very good for dry acne prone skin
I was using this one when I was suffering from acne and it worked better for me than Original one. And I am using it as a finishing touch now, when I am on roaccutane (so my skin is suuuuper dry atm) - it doesn't dry my skin out, leaves it smooth.

good for light coverage
This isn't heavy coverage, so 100% can't be used to cover blemishes on it's own, but is great for an extra layer of coverage over liquid foundation/concealers. Actually makes my base makeup look a lot better with a little bit of powder on top. Alternatively, it's really good for quick/easy coverage on a no makeup day.

Hopeless
Nothing as good as the original Blemish Remedy, which used to cure practically overnight. This seems heavier even than the normal mineral foundation and is hard, and harsh, to use. Have bought a witch hazel stick, and used overnight it is better than BM.

Not as advertised
I ordered the bare minerals blemish rescue as I suffer from acne and require full coverage. I also have used the bareminals foundation before and loved it so trust the brand and also bought the recommended application brush also. The coverage is sub standard. Considering its marketed to people with acne, the foundation barely covers my blemishes at all, even when using a concealer. The description on the website quotes that it's "non-drying powder foundation" - It is drying because you have to build it up so much. Blemish busting. Camouflaging. Concealing. Correct the appearance. These are all claims that this product does not meet. In fact I found that the product built up specifically on my blemish areas and therefore highlights them even more. It does not conceal or correct. The product does not do the job it is advertised to do. DO NOT BUY YOU WILL WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Why Why Why
BareMinerals has replaced their Blemish Remedy foundation, which I loved and wanted to use forever, with a lesser product. The consistency is stickier, it's harder to lay out evenly and sets into expression lines. It also doesn't last as long as the Blemish Remedy did. It did nothing to prevent my skin to become oily after a few hours. Bring back Blemish Remedy please!

Misleading shade descriptions
I bought the shade 1N Fair Ivory and the colour is honestly more of a light-to-medium rather than a fair. I can sort of get away with wearing it if I pay attention to take it down my neck and only apply a light layer, but I do look quite tan. however, the coverage and staying power is quite good, and if it was the right shade I would probably also be able to use it for spot-concealing because of the good coverage - but that is obviously impossible when the shade is too dark. For reference I wear Lily Lolo mineral foundation in China Doll (winter) and Blondie (summer), and Alima Pure mineral foundation in Neutral 2. My star rating is based solely on the misleading shade descriptions and the lack of inclusion in both ends of the shade spectrum (missing proper fair shades as well as deeper shades). I like everything else about the product, but I think the shade-issues are big enough to take off two stars.
