Swirl a small amount of foundation in the cap until it disappears into the brush. Tap away any excess. Buff onto your skin circular motions. This activates the minerals and transforms them from a powder to a silky cream. Repeat until you’ve achieved the coverage you want.

My sister has raved about this product for year's, but I could never warranty the slightly dearer price tag. How wrong could I be? It is an amazing medium coverage that you can build-up when needed. The shade is a fantastic match. I went medium beige, slightly darker than my old products but provide the most elegant finish with a slight hint of colour. I can't see me turning back 😍

Not suitable for oily skin
I’m so disappointed. I wanted to change up my face powder and actually did some half decent research in to what powder would be best for oily skin. This was suggested but honestly it’s terrible. The powder sits in the creases of my eyes etc and I’m oily within around an hour of applying. Might be different over the top of a liquid foundation (haven’t tried as don’t wear) but not wearing alone.

I used to have the bareMinerals original loose mineral foundation some time ago, but I applied it wrongly. I give it a try again, and I love it so much. I like the natural looking foundation just to even the skin tone and this give me flawless but natural look. The key is to apply it in small amounts and buff it troughly. Such a underrated foundation

I simply can't see myself ever again changing from mineral makeup and I am very unlikely to change from Bare Minerals as it's so far the best I've used. I have sensitive, reactive skin and it seems to love this (and Bare Mineral's others mineral -) formula. I have tried, a few times now over the years, to go back to liquid foundation (I don't know why one even thinks to change a winning concept..?), with a few of the really high-end brands too, but there's n o t h i n g that looks as natural and glowy on my skin, while still covering imperfections such as redness, blemishes etc (while still letting beauty marks come through which is a bit of an amazing thing to me in itself). I want to mention starting to use a primer (also Bare Minerals for me, i.e. their 'Original Primer') was a game-changer in the use of mineral foundation for me, as the makeup now stays on even in light rain (which for me before was my only issue with mineral makeup). I use a buff brush for areas where I want more coverage and blend that out with more of a soft, large head powder brush. I constantly get compliments for my skin (rather than my makeup) and love the way it makes me look.
