Give curly hair a boost with the Bouclème Curl Defining Gel; a lightweight, deeply moisturising formula that creates a veil over hair to add ultimate body and bounce.
Delivering frizz control around the clock, the gel effortlessly defines and shapes curls, whilst enhancing shine and smoothing strands from root to tip. No greasy residue, flaking or stickiness.
Free from sulphates, parabens and silicones.
- Application differs depending on your curl texture and desired results.
- Apply to soaking wet hair.
- For extra volume: Pour gel into palms and graze gel over canopy, tip head forward and graze underneath. Apply more gel to ends and scrunch hair up towards head. Scrunch and hold each section for 10 seconds to encourage curl formation.
- For volume control: Use fingers to rake gel through hair in sections starting at the back of the head and working towards the front. Ensure even distribution. This method works well for medium/thick textures to elongate curls and prevent shrinkage.
- Style as usual. Avoid touching hair until completely dry to prevent frizz. Once hair is completely dry, tip head forward and scrunch out gel.

Good Curly Hair Product
This is a very light gel that gives good hold for your curls. Works well when refreshing 2nd/3rd/4th day curls. For me the only issue is the scent, sort of floral/citrus which I just don’t like. However i did find that it didn’t linger after I’d dried my hair, so it was just whilst styling that I had the problem. All in all I would recommend this product as it works well.

Great product!
I bought this curl gel after reading good reviews. I have long, bleached wavy hair with ringlets underneath. I follow the CG method and was looking for a product which was CG approved. This has the consistency of a serum but applies like a gel. I've only used it once so far but I am so impressed! It has left my hair smooth, defined and soft with minimal frizz. My waves look amazing. I am so happy I've found a product that works!

Good for fine hair and CGM approved
I’m about halfway through my bottle of this now, but have purchased a second already when it went on off so I do like the gel. First thing you’ll notice is the runny consistency that’s not like the gels you buy in a tub from the supermarket that wobble like jelly. Second is the scent, now my sense of smell is poor but this smells strong even to me - if you have a sensitive nose or dislike citrus scents then avoid. It is definitely a light hold gel, but it’s also lightweight which is great for finer hair. The hold is fair, on damp hair it’s stronger but I prefer to apply to soaking wet hair. It is CGM friendly (curly girl method) which is a must for me as I’m using the method currently. There’s no flaking, my hair is shiny and bouncy. Just do not purchase if you are expecting a super strong cast because it won’t give you one.

This isn't like a usual hair gel, it is quite runny and a little goes a long way. It is very lightweight but hold my curl well without crispness. The smell is inoffensive and not overpowering. I love it.

Nice product
The gel has a runny slippery consistency and it's easy to apply. I find that using it with the curl creme gives best results on my hair, lovely soft curls. After washing, conditioning I'd apply to creme to wet hair as leave in conditioner, wrap in a towel, let it dry a bit and generously apply the gel. Let the hair dry and break up the cast. Very easy to re-style on second, third or even fourth day - just wet the hair with my hands and scrunch it up. Sometimes with a little bit more gel. I'm now also using the unisex gel on top but not getting better results so might not buy a new one. The only thing is, I do not like the smell but evaporates quickly and I'm very happy with the product itself so still 5 stars.

Curl Defining Gel
This gel was easy to use but, a bit 'trial and error' regarding how much to use. I didn't get the 'crunchy' effect on my hair, so maybe I could get away with using a little more. Other curly hair products can leave me happy with the outcome (soft, curly and frizz free) but slightly disappointed that each hair tends to be a bit flat, rather than round and full. Boucleme Curl Defining Gel leaves my hair fuller, soft and feeling like normal hair (whatever you think that might be). Liked the product so much that I bought one of the 'try me sets' , to sample more of the range. Happy so far.
