Give curly hair a boost with the Bouclème Curl Defining Gel; a lightweight, deeply moisturising formula that creates a veil over hair to add ultimate body and bounce.
Delivering frizz control around the clock, the gel effortlessly defines and shapes curls, whilst enhancing shine and smoothing strands from root to tip. No greasy residue, flaking or stickiness.
Free from sulphates, parabens and silicones.
- Application differs depending on your curl texture and desired results.
- Apply to soaking wet hair.
- For extra volume: Pour gel into palms and graze gel over canopy, tip head forward and graze underneath. Apply more gel to ends and scrunch hair up towards head. Scrunch and hold each section for 10 seconds to encourage curl formation.
- For volume control: Use fingers to rake gel through hair in sections starting at the back of the head and working towards the front. Ensure even distribution. This method works well for medium/thick textures to elongate curls and prevent shrinkage.
- Style as usual. Avoid touching hair until completely dry to prevent frizz. Once hair is completely dry, tip head forward and scrunch out gel.

Lovely curling gel
Haven’t used a gel since the 90s so was feeling worried about ‘the wet-look’ or a crunchy feel. Didn’t need to worry at all! When applied to wet hair it dries firm, but very quickly scrunches out to leave lovely soft bouncy curls!! Really enhances my natural waves - smells gorgeous - very pleased with it.

Curl Defining at its best
I have 3B curls and have used this product for a few years... I also tried their curl creme product in a pink bottle, which made my curls really tight, so I prefer the curl defining yellow bottle which gives me looser looking curls. My sons who have slighly more afro hair prefer the creme product in afro hair. When I use this product a little goes a long way. I add the product all over, turn head upside down and then scrunch curls so product is evenly distributed and leave to air dry. I also add a little joiwhip by Joico mousse and hey presto! Beautiful curls that last all week!

This does not create a cast over your curls, so they do not last. It is easy to work with and has a lot of slip. however you do have to be careful with other products, and this has can cause flakiness with certain products.
