Give curly hair a boost with the Bouclème Curl Defining Gel; a lightweight, deeply moisturising formula that creates a veil over hair to add ultimate body and bounce.
Delivering frizz control around the clock, the gel effortlessly defines and shapes curls, whilst enhancing shine and smoothing strands from root to tip. No greasy residue, flaking or stickiness.
Free from sulphates, parabens and silicones.
- Application differs depending on your curl texture and desired results.
- Apply to soaking wet hair.
- For extra volume: Pour gel into palms and graze gel over canopy, tip head forward and graze underneath. Apply more gel to ends and scrunch hair up towards head. Scrunch and hold each section for 10 seconds to encourage curl formation.
- For volume control: Use fingers to rake gel through hair in sections starting at the back of the head and working towards the front. Ensure even distribution. This method works well for medium/thick textures to elongate curls and prevent shrinkage.
- Style as usual. Avoid touching hair until completely dry to prevent frizz. Once hair is completely dry, tip head forward and scrunch out gel.

Not blown away
I didn’t feel this made a huge difference to keeping the shape of my curls. Even after a lot of scrunching, I still felt it left a residue in my hair. Lovely smell but won’t be repurchasing.

CGM friendly Gel
One of my favourite CGM gels that I can actually still get delivered to Malta after Brexit (thanks LF). If you're following CGM this is a great gel to try with the Boucleme curl cream. I've been using it for a couple of years now. Gives a medium crunch (try the super hold styler for max crunch) and smells lovely.

Smells amazing
I love the Boucleme range and this gel works brilliantly on my fine 2c/3a curly hair. The hold is perfect for my fine hair and I also use it watered down as a spritz in between washes. It smells amazing!

A nice gel, it isn’t too thick, it has quite a ‘watery’ consistency which is nice as I feel it’s easier to distribute and feels very light weight. Does have a strong smell, but smell doesn’t stay on hair once dry if you are worried about that. Not the strongest hold gel but still pretty good
