A little underwhelmed
Smells lovely - I purchased this as regular shampoos and conditioners are simply not cutting it for my young niece's incredible tangle of curls... Tangle being the operative word right now. I'd heard great things about Cantu (especially for curls) and thought this kid's pack might be just the solution for us but I can't say it's made the biggest difference. The wide tooth code is essentially so wide that it's not the most effective tool I've ever used, though it is more robust than the average comb. We seem to have used a gallon of detangling spray already and I can't say that I think it is particularly more effective than other, more generic, kid's detangling sprays. It doesn't seem as though the product continues to work the way I would expect either. An example of this being that we can use the shampoo, conditioner and detangling spray one night, she wears a silk bonnet to sleep, and by the following morning her hair is undeniably knotty again which frustrates her no end. Will definitely be using the set through to completion to give it more than it's fair chance but if we don't see an improvement in results we'll be moving on and trying a different product range again in the hopes of finding a more effective, better fit for her curls.
