Wet hair completely. Apply a generous amount to the root and work toward ends. Gently massage scalp to remove buildup. Thoroughly rinse with cool water.

Cantu Co-Wash
Long time Cantu user (leave-in conditioner/coconut curl cream) but this is the first time I've used to the Co-wash. It works really well. Not as harsh as a shampoo but offering a better cleanse than you'd get just using conditioner if you are washing in line with some of the Curly Girl techniques. My hair felt great afterwards. It removed all of the build-up and left it with loads of volume feeling nice and bouncy. Will definitely re-purchase again, I love it!

Too much residue
I had really high hopes for this product, as I use Cantu's leave in conditioning creme and it's fantastic. I've got tight, dry curls but quite fine hair, so have to be quite careful with my products. I've used a co-wash before with great success, so thought I'd give this a go. It smells great, and is dead easy to use, but even after rinsing thoroughly twice (once with warm water and the again with cold) I just can't get this weird sticky residue out of my hair, especially at the roots, where I really massaged the product onto my scalp. Such a shame, as it's an amazing price, but really not worth it for me!
