Only use a small amount
I really wish there was curl cream in an okay price range but this product is disappointing. It too heavy and by end of day my hair feels sticky?? Ive heard the childrens version of this cream is lighter - but I tried at a salon recently and it was pretty similar. If youre going to use this, keep it to a small amount.

Thick and a little goes a long way so a bottle lasts ages (depending on how frequently you wash and style your hair). Not the best product on the market but certainly beats out plenty of other curl creams that are more than twice the price.

People say cantu has a drying effect. But I’ve had to come back to this product as I can’t find anything that works for my 3c hair, esp since dying blonde. I had a 3year break and after spending a fortune on products that are as natural as possible. I can honestly say I’ve missed this product!

Its pretty decent, not the best out there
I think its a decent product, It leaves your hair moisturised and forms your curls well. However, it does leave your scalp irritated and oily which is not really great.

I found it very thick and I almost felt it made my hair feel a bit drier than usual definitely not moisturized however I’m trying a few different products recently so I can’t be sure it was this. It doesn’t seem to have any hold. At this stage I won’t buy it again. I have type 3b curls and it’s not for me.

This product I have used for a few years. It smells like Pina colada and always leaves my curls moisturised and defined. You only need a small pea sized amount, I tend to mix it with water and use a tiny bit of gel with it.
