Helping to protect and hydrate the skin barrier, the CeraVe Advanced Repair Ointment is a petroleum-based formula that nourishes dry, chapped and cracked skin.
Enriched with hyaluronic acid and a tri-blend of ceramides, the ointment visibly plumps and moisturises, encouraging a soothing and cooling sensation with a non-greasy feel. The multi-benefit balm can be used on the face, lips and body to protect from trans epidermal water loss, granting long-lasting hydration and softness with a visibly smooth and supple finish.
- Application: Apply to face, lips and body as needed. Avoid direct contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.

I came across this product through an Instagram ad and figured it was worth using on my very dry skin. I first tried it on my lips but that didn’t work as well. I then started using it on my legs after shaving and it worked fabulously. It moisturizing while also soothing any razor burn that I get. I also love this for my hands if they get a bit dry in the colder months. This is also great to help with any cuts.

Love love LOVE this ointment! I have very dry sensitive skin which often needs some deep moisturizing TLC (especially when I’ve been using actives). I use a pea sized amount of this ointment to slug at night over hyaluronic acid serum and my usual moisturizer, and my skin is SO soft and smooth when I wake up. I used to use Vaseline for slugging, but this ointment is much less sticky/goopy and sinks in more overnight so creates less of a mess on my pillows. I wouldn’t use this during the day, but for overnight repair it’s amazing!

Same thick texture as Vaseline which doesn't make it easily squeezable. Super thick and does not dry up so quickly, so it just stays glossy on your skin for a long long time. Best to stick with good ol' Vaseline.
