Helping to protect and hydrate the skin barrier, the CeraVe Advanced Repair Ointment is a petroleum-based formula that nourishes dry, chapped and cracked skin.
Enriched with hyaluronic acid and a tri-blend of ceramides, the ointment visibly plumps and moisturises, encouraging a soothing and cooling sensation with a non-greasy feel. The multi-benefit balm can be used on the face, lips and body to protect from trans epidermal water loss, granting long-lasting hydration and softness with a visibly smooth and supple finish.
- Application: Apply to face, lips and body as needed. Avoid direct contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.

Great for tattoos!
This products is a little bit sticky feeling for use on hands, however it is absolutely PERFECT for using on fresh tattoos, to help the healing process along.

Good for dry skin
In the winter my skin is super dry. Using this has helped moisturise my skin, but it is pretty thick and a bit greasy (like vaseline) so only use it at night but it leaves my skin super soft.

Repairing
The cerave repair ointment is super handy and very versatile. I love using as a lip balm, on the cuticles and even as a hand cream when needed throughout the recent cold weeks. I also find this perfect for when my skin starts to get rather dry and irritated. I love that even though this is a petroleum-based formula, it's fragrance-free and hypoallergenic. A little goes a long way and I also find myself using on my dog paws to help any minor cracks.

Holy grail
Although I have been using this product for years (as a lip balm primarily) it’s so exciting that it’s finally come to the uk. Slightly different formula than that of its American counterpart but just as effective and luxurious. Packaging is immaculate and sturdy. “Slugging” is nothing new in dermatology but considering the recently popularity on TikTok; this product would work very well if you’re interested in that. Especially when used on the body. I Would have liked a longer shelf life (6 months) as I go through this quite slowly but all in all I will be buying this for life!
