Retexturise dry, bumpy, rough skin with derma-skincare brand CeraVe’s Smoothing Cleanser. The hydrating cleanser works to swiftly remove oil, dirt and makeup, while replenishing and reinforcing skin’s natural barrier with moisture-retaining hyaluronic acid.
Powered by an exclusive combination of three scientifically-identified essential ceramides, the lightweight cleanser helps to draw moisture in and combat irritants. A 0.5% concentration of salicylic acid offers a gentle chemical exfoliation, dissolving dead skin and pore-clogging impurities to encourage the appearance of a smoother surface.

This Cerave SA smoothing cleanser has been a miracle. For months I have suffered with stubborn, comedonal acne and have tried every product out there. I recently came across this product and after 1 use I noticed a difference! The closed comedones on my cheeks and forehead got smaller with each wash and after 5 days it had completely banished them! My stubborn, bumpy, textured skin was no more and I finally started to feel more happy and confident with my skin. Good, but not for constant use
I bought this as I thought it would be a more affordable version of the Cosrx low pH cleanser, as both are salicylic acid cleansers. I get breakouts constantly around my jaw and chin, and thought this would help. It was effective at first, but after a few weeks my skin became red, irritated and sore whenever I used it. I think used occasionally (for those with acne), it can help, but not every day or for every cleanse. I've switched to the CeraVe Hydrating cleanser and that has helped clear my acne immensely, as well as the calmed the redness and irritation. Would recommend to use during summer, or after exercising, or if your skin does not become easily sensitised. Would not recommend if you have irritated skin or inflamed breakouts.
