I bought the small size just to give it a try as I love cleansing balms. This one is ok and removes make up like a dream however I think I’ll stick with my Elemis balm .

Make up melts off
I've bought this a few times now so thought it was about time to leave a review. It does the job - make up and mascara just melts off! The little pot lasts ages so I tend to buy this as and when I need it (easier on the budget this way!). I actually have always preferred another brand for the 'Spa' experience for my cleanser, but since trying to save money I have moved to this one permanently - and love it now.

Decent product hardly any smell
Was expecting it to have a lovely smell like the top rated /cult cleansers on LF. The texture is a bit like wax. Cleanses well. The travel size lasts a long time. Nothing special and wouldn’t buy the full price.

Amazing Cleansing Balm
Having heard rave reviews across the board about Clinique's Cleansing Balm I was so happy when LF had a fantastic offer on the product - purchased it immediately. I wasn't disappointed! With virtually no scent and generously filled right to the top the balm is initially quite hard straight out the pot. But once warmed up a little on your fingers it melts like butter and becomes silky soft. It glides effortlessly on the face and absorbs really well into the skin. A little goes a long way. It removes my make-up/sunscreen and the build up of the day brilliantly, quickly and easily. Rinses off well and leaves my skin feeling really fresh and clean. It's also perfect for when I want to double cleanse as the first step. I'm using it a lot more regularly than I had anticipated but I'm just so impressed with it!

To be fair for a small pot it goes a long way, the balm melts into an oil in your hands and emulsifies nicely. It does a really great job of getting all my makeup and spf off and isnt remotely irritating. Love it, will get the bigger size next time

Perfect makeup remover
I love this for the first step of my cleansing routine when I take off my makeup at night. If I use just my sunscreen, a bit of concealer, mascara and gloss, I find using just CeraVe cleanser enough and for anything more than that, I go in with this. It reminds me of coconut oil but this is better for your skin (coconut oil is a comedogenic and while some people have no problem using it, for others it’s really bad). I take it out with my fingers, rub it on like a cream, wash off, use CeraVe and than wash my face again. That makes all the makeup go away, no rubbing, no cleaning pads, nothing else. It’s also perfect for travelling (when at home, I sometimes use other liquid oil cleansers but since this is solid, it’s perfect on the go). Since I don’t do heavy makeup every day, it lasts me quite some time (2-3 months for 30ml).
