Designed for curly or coily hair types that are extremely dehydrated and dry, Color Wow’s Extra Strength Dream Coat offers the same anti-humidity benefits, now with powerful moisturising and waterproofing technology.
The heat-activated anti-frizz spray locks in moisture and blocks out humidity thanks to invisible flex-elastic polymers that keep straight blow-dried styles looking sleek and glossy. The formula infuses brittle, porous strands with moisture, while waterproof technology helps to minimise the appearance of frizz and flyaways for up to three shampoos.
Safe for keratin-treated hair.
- When to Use: After shampooing, conditioning and towel-drying hair.
- Application: Divide hair into sections. Spray each section liberally and comb through. Blow-dry each section using tension. Dryer heat is required to activate. If using a straightener, heat should not exceed 190°C. Use every 3-4 shampoos.

I have fine, porous, frizzy hair and this dream coat is great for smoothing the frizz. I’ve found I need to follow the instructions, and apply enough product to each section of the hair for maximum effect. I use every 3 - 4 washes and blow dry my hair using a brush to create some tension, to achieve the best results.

I’m confused about this product. The first time I used it I had amazing results but it’s never worked the same since. I don’t use it every wash, maybe once a week or every other week I just can’t tell if it’s actually doing anything now as my hair doesn’t feel any different after styling whether I use it or not. Am I doing something wrong? Everyone else seems to rave about it.

I have very fine frizzy hair and this dream coat is perfect for taming my fly away frizzy hair. You have to make sure you add enough on each section of your hair for maximum effect and then you will get a nice smooth look while blow drying. Would not be without it and recommend it if you want to get lovely shiny hair.

Unfortunately I thought this would be good for my straight, coloured, damaged hair but it’s not. It reads like it’s for curly hair (but it’s not the curly hair version) so I am a bit confused. Complete waste of money! 😞
