Equipped with a convenient dual-ended brush that encourages a precise application, the water-resistant formula stays put with a barely there feel. Perfect to take on-the-go, the root cover-up powder is housed in a handy mirrored compact to ensure a fuss-free top-up, whenever and wherever.
- Application: Apply to dry hair. Load up small end of brush with powder. Use free hand to pull hair flat/taut against head and press brush down firmly into roots, starting from scalp and working out – do not use sweeping motion. Apply more powder as needed. To extend highlights, use side edge of small brush. Lightly dust off any excess powder with wide end of brush.

Good for eyebrows
Was difficult to fill in all the grey roots with a small brush. Thought it would be easier but I prefer a spray. However really good for eyebrows so won’t go to waste!

Decent root cover
Fairly good cover though not as good as I expected compared to the one I used to use which was brilliant but discontinued, found this one needed a bit more application to completely cover greys, does work though, and I do like the brush with the two options for spot and wider coverage ( I have very dark brown/ black hair with some greys and used the black one)

Like other reviewers I found you need to apply a fair bit of this to cover up the greys. But it has great staying power so doesn't need a lot of touch ups. A lot easier to control the coverage around the hairline than sprays too

The best root powder
This root powder really helps fill out the hair line and centre parting easily! It can be transferable to be sure to get with hairspray and avoid touching hair where it’s applied as it will transfer to fingers! Very easy to use and lasts ages too

Mixed results
This works well if you have gaps of hair in your scalp and around your hairline but I find it does nothing to hide greys. Also packaging is over the top for the amount you get. I think I will look for cheaper alternatives next time

I love most colourwow products so was really eager to try this instead of using my usual L'Oréal spray root cover but unfortunately was very disappointed by this. It's really hard and time consuming to get any sort of cover and unlike the spray ones only lasts a day so needs reapplying everyday. May aswell just use a brown eyeshadow.
