The Denman brush is byfar the best detangling brush I have ever used and it makes my curls pop! I am african american with course curly hair and was able to detangle my hair with ease as well as my daughter's hair. It worked even better than the tangle teezer and cut my hair shedding and breakage during detangling and washing down more than 50%!! I give the brush an A+ and would reccommend that everyone purchase from this site the price was cheaper than my beauty supply store plus I got free shipping which was even more amazing!!!

Disappointed
I wanted a good brush for my long hair, and after many hours researching online, the Denman brushes looked promising. The product was a disappointment. While it does detangle my hair somewhat, the bristles are hard and hurts my scalp. It makes my hair very static-y, although perhaps that's the norm with nylon brushes. It gets dusty really fast, and when I took it apart to clean, I couldn't, for the life of me, put it back together. I tried sliding the rubber pad to the plastic handle, but it just gets stuck midway. The handle feels nice, but overall, it was a waste of money for me.

This was my first Denhams brush, I wanted a good quality brush which had a solid foundation. I also wanted a brush which would style and brush. I find with this brush makes pin curls are easier. My first but not my last.

I was very excited to get my denman brush and so far im very impressed and not disappointed at all. I and my children have corse (textured hair) and when i used it on them it glided through condition damp hair, when i use to comb it out with a normal paddle brush it would pull out so much hair but now im able to do there hair without hurting them and without pulling out their hair. My oldest daughter said "i like when you brush it all the way out from the top it feels so good". Im so happy
