Dermalogica Active Moist is a silky, oil‐free moisturiser that absorbs without a trace and creates an invisible barrier against moisture loss. Suitable for normal to oily skin conditions, this fragrance‐free moisturiser has a sheer, easy to apply formula and provides effective, oilfree hydration without leaving a greasy feel.

Holy Grail Moisturiser
Finally found an amazing moisturiser for my oily acne prone skin!! This is the only moisturiser I've finally come across that not only moisturises my oily skin perfectly, but it helped so much to smooth out my skin and eliminate those annoying tiny bumps that used to be almost everywhere on my face! No amount of exfoliating would even help with them! Bha and aha products would just make them worse. This moisturiser makes my skin feel smooth, moisturised and hydrated with no residue feeling! My skin has been transformed!

This is okay, tbh I expected it to be better for the price. Though I have quite dry skin so maybe need something a little thicker. I prob wouldn’t buy again for the price I’ve had cheeper better moisturisers.

Fave moisturiser so far
Got into the skincare game a few years ago and this is my fave moisturiser so far. I have acne/rosacea prone skin and this is perfect for me. It’s light and doesn’t leave too much of a shine after you put it on (not like paula’s Choice moisturiser for oily skin). It’s not a Matte moisturiser so still expect some shine. If your looking for a shine free (Matte) moisturiser paula’s Choice ‘Skin balancing’ moisturiser is really nice. I use that in the mornings if I’m not wearing make up, and then use this at night or if I am wearing make up. Remember everyone’s skin is different and trying any new product is taking a leap of faith but if you know your skin type and buy samples before (if possible) you can make informed guesses. You can buy most Dermalogica samples on eBay by the way

Lightweight & Hydrating
I am engaged in an ongoing battle with cystic acne and a dermatologist recommended I overhaul my skincare products and switch to oil-free. I used to use the Skin Smoothing Cream and I loved the texture of it, but it was too heavy for my oily skin. I've been using Active Moist for around 12 months now and this combined with other oil-free Dermalogica products, oil-free makeup and regularly cleaning my makeup brushes has made a big difference to my skin. I still get outbreaks, but nowhere near as often. Active Moist spreads really nicely over the skin, so I don't need to use loads of it. I use a little more in the evenings before bed. It's lightweight but still has a satisfying texture - my skin doesn't feel tight after applying it, which I've found in the past with other lighter moisturisers. I can't quite get away with using it as an eye cream, which I used to do with the Skin Smoothing Cream, but that's fine. If you have oily skin and need a lightweight moisturiser that still gives you that smooth, hydrated feeling then this is the one.
