Dermalogica AGE Smart™ Skin Resurfacing Cleanser is a dual-action exfoliating cleanser for mature and prematurely-ageing skin containing lactic acid that smoothes, re-texturises and delivers ultra-clean skin.
You can achieve superior smoothness and ultra-clean skin after just one use with Dermalogica AGE Smart™ Skin Resurfacing Cleanser. This highly active lactic acid concentrate re-texturises skin suffering from visible signs of ageing by removing dulling surface debris and accelerating cell renewal.
With antioxidant vitamin E that conditions and enhances softness while fortifying the skin’s natural moisture barrier, soothing rose flower oil calms skin sensitivity. Daily use of this silky cleanser dramatically improves skin texture and properly prepares for maximum penetration of AGE Smart™ products.
Dermalogica AGE Smart™ Skin Resurfacing Cleanser uses alpha hydroxy acid to exfoliate surface cells leaving a smoother, polished surface that is receptive to subsequent active ingredients and that also helps hydrate and brighten; and tocopheryl acetate (vitamin E), an antioxidant that conditions and enhances skin softness while fortifying skin’s natural moisture barrier.
Dermalogica AGE Smart™ Skin Resurfacing Cleanser contains no artificial fragrance or colour.
Directions of use:
- Lightly lather in hands and apply to damp face and throat morning and evening.
- Massage with light, upward strokes for at least 30 seconds, avoiding the eye area.
- Reduce to one use per day if any sensitivity develops.
- Follow with Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF30 when used in the morning.

Wonderful product
Since my 40's I have been using this and alternating with the special cleaning gel. My skin feels clean, radiant and nourished. Occasionally I'll try other products such as Elemis and Balance me but I come back to Dermalogica as it works well for me and smells gorgeous. I also like the freebies you get from LF when you order Dermalogica.

Ouch!
Considering Dermalogica's reputation I was expecting some results from this cleanser however I found it stung my face and especially my eyes, which makes me question the ingredients. Sticking to natural organic coconut in the future which is much more effective and pain free!

Great cleanser
I use one pump twice a week and it lasts me for about a year. It leaves my skin incredibly smooth and it helped me to reduce my adult acne. I bought it instead of the Gentle Cream Exfoliant which was out of stock then. It was my second purchase now and I will definitely repurchase again!

Just great
I discovered this product after reading about it in a magazine, and after spending a lot of money on all kinds of cleansers (some very expensive one's at that)I've finally found 'the one! I'm now on my 5th bottle and wouldn't swap it unless dermalogica came up with something even better. My only gripe is the top, 4 out of 5 bottles don't open properly when you follow the arrow to open the dispenser. So each time I have to undo the top and take out the pump dispenser and pour it out. Definitely a design fault Dermalogica, or they're not being tested properly...so please sort it out! I would send them back, except that I order when I'm low and can't waste time waiting for another one.

Not enough * for this cleanser
I'm 53 with greasy skin that tends to get blocked easily. I have spent years and a lot of money on expensive products such as Elemis, Clarins etc trying to find a good cleanser that does what it says on the bottle, until I discovered this one. I can't praise it enough. I saw results in just a week so knew I was onto a winner! My skin is clear, glowing, healthy and I look a lot younger than my almost 54 years. I'm now on my 4th bottle and wouldn't change it for anything-together with the Multi Active Toner they've worked wonders.

Try this - you won't be disappointed
My past portfolio of cleansers, etc has included Eve Lom, Liz Earle, Clarins, Elemis, Clinique and Decleor. I have ageing skin, with stubborn congestion around temples area and enlarged pores on nose and chin, although my skin type is mature/dry (yes, I do sound beautiful, I know).Nothing has permanently addressed the congestion (little spots under the skin), including the exfoliants in the ranges above, including dermalogica, and I do drink lots of water. However, this new cleanser has been a revelation. For the first time ever, the area around my temples is smooth, noticeably less congested, and my whole face feels cleansed and looks more radiant - enough to attract comments about it... It is all down to this cleanser. When I started using it I have to admit I was slightly put off by the tingling sensation and what I thought was the over-drying result. Thank goodness I persisted past the 1st week. Those things settled very quickly and this is definately the best product I have ever used as a cleanser. I can't recommend it highly enough.And guess what? I ran out and went back to using one of the other products mentioned above.The congestion returned, so I went back to this cleanser and - hey presto - my skin is clearing again - the clarity of my skin has never been better. I am now going to try the exfoliator in this range.Overall, a brilliant product. Do persevere past the first week. You'll be very pleased you did.
