Not for Acne Prone Skin
Love DHC as a brand, but this product was a no-go for me. It absolutely broke me out by clogging my pores, especially on my cheeks (unsurprising given olive oil is a main ingredient which I didn't know at the time is allegedly one of the worst for acne prone skin). My skin also never felt fully cleansed afterwards, always like there was a slightly oily layer left there that I just couldn't seem to properly remove even with other cleansers - you won't enjoy this if you like a squeaky clean feeling. Also found travel size bottle to not be particularly user friendly due to tiny hole in lid. Absolutely recommend if your skin craves moisture or feels tight after cleansing, but not for me.

Have tried to love this as it is great at removing every trace of make up but my skin just doesn’t like it! It irritates and makes it very itchy. My eyes get red, itchy lumps after use. Have tired bathing face in water and even washing my face again with something else after…so disappointed ☹️

Perfect 1st Cleanse
I bought this cleanser a while ago in the smallest size and never found anything as good in the meantime, so have repurchased the big 200ml size! It's quite a heavy oil consistency, I use the full 3 pumps for face and neck, but it's got great slip so it's perfect for working into your skin and dissolving the day. Emulsifies with water to a light milky texture and can easily be rinsed or wiped with a damp wash cloth. Overall I've noticed an improvement in my skin already after only a couple of weeks and I honestly think it's down to this oil *actually* cleaning away all traces of my spf/make-up. Definitely recommend.
